A.2. Funded Project Proposals Design & Planning. Design and Full Planning of Project Proposals


Continuous editions.


Project Managers, Area Managers and Assistants, Project Designers, Entrepreneurs, Professionals and Researchers interested or involved in the elaboration of project proposals, for the participation to European, national or local call for proposals.


The course aims at giving to participants basic knowledge about European Planning strategies, starting from the main elements composing a project: deep analysis of documentation of the call, tools and fundamental designing techniques and their characteristics.


I MODULE – The initial analysis phase (One Day)                                                                       
– Definition and characteristics of a project (one hour)
– The Project Cycle Management and the Goal Oriented Project Planning (one hour)
– The Logical Framework Approach (two hours)
– Practical activity
– The Problems Tree and the Objectives Tree (two hours)
– Practical activity
– The strategies Analysis (two hours)
– Practical activity

II MODULE – Designing, Planning and Structure of projects (One Day)
– The Project Designing & Planning Phase (two hours)
– Practical activity
– In-depth Analysis: comparison between the Logical Framework Approach and the Project Cycle Management Phases (two hours)
– From the Project Cycle Management to the structure of projects (two hours)
– Budget and the other sources of funding (two hours)
– Case studies


The approach adopted during this course is practical, to help the participants to develop effective skills in writing project proposals. The course is actually provided on line. Considering the need not only to provide knowledge and information to the participants, but also to involve them in practical activities and to support them through Q&A sessions, it is provided through on line platforms and tools requiring the simultaneous attendance of the participants. Deferred and non-synchronous classes may be organised if appropriate.


At the beginning of each module, the participants will receive in electronic format the slides that will be used. During classes, websites and useful links will be indicated to the attendees, and will be used for the development of different practical exercises.


The course will last 16 hours.

Maximum number of participants: 15.
