Dr. Silvia Ciotti has successfully developed the First Knowledge Oriented Seminar. The objective of the Seminar is the following: “The purpose of this interactive seminar is to offer the information and theoretical background needed for police officers to acquire the knowledge that will assist them in better supporting victims with special needs. Through raising their awareness on these issues, the goal is to enhance their capacity to understand better and more in depth the situations that the victims face, which will eventually enable participants to more effectively recognise and support the victims’ needs.”
