Save the date to this unique event! ENCLAVE’s Final Conference concludes the two years mandate of this European scale action research project. The event is organized by the University of Leuven in collaboration with EuroCrime and the other partners of ENCLAVE project. The conference will bring together professionals from the justice, care and health sectors, policymakers, researchers and volunteers, to disseminate the ENCLAVE project outputs and to foster dialogue towards the implementation of a more appropriate and victim sensitive approach within criminal proceedings tailored to the particular needs of children victims and witnesses of abuse.
The conference will be held both live and livestreamed on January 12th 2023, 09.30-17.00h at Warmoesberg 43, 1000 Brussels – Odisee Hogeschool, Hermesgebouw 3, room 6116.
In the morning sessions, we’re honored to have contributions from the European Commissioner Coordinator for Victims’ Rights Katarzyna Janicka-Pawlowska, from Executive Director at Victim Support Europe Levent Altan, and from our partners of the Enclave Project, including Dr. Silvia Ciotti, CEO of EuroCrime, who will present the training materials developed for victim support professionals.
In the afternoon we’re hosting three thematic sessions and a round table, focused on the specialized response to child sexual victimization. Do not miss the presentations from Prof. dr. Ines Keygnaert (Ghent University), Spanish Magistrate Anna Carrascosa, and Clinical child psychologist Mariana Saksniit (Women’s Support and Information Center).
