The partnership in the training field between EuroCrime and Psychology in Court has been launched with the course “Data Protection, the GDPR and the Technical Consultant” – May 27, 2022

The collaboration program in the training field between EuroCrime and Psychology in Court begins with the course “Data Protection, the GDPR and the Technical Consultant. Practical aspects, responsibility, consequences”.

The training course targets professionals working as Technical Consultant or however working in the forensic and juridical domains, with a special focus on forensic psychologists and psychiatrists. It is aimed at providing fundamental practical skills in the management and processing of personal data (in particular sensitive data) in the field of the Technical Consultancy. The training will be provided by Dr Silvia Ciotti, EuroCrime, criminologist, member of the Italian National Association for Data Protection, among the most eminent experts in the fields of security, ethics, GDPR, privacy and data protection.

The course will be held on the Psychology in Court Zoom platform in synchronous FAD mode with live session on Friday 27 May 2022 – 15:00-18:00. Afterwards, the recording of the course will be available on demand for 12 months. At the end of the course, participants will have the opportunity to download the certificate of participation.

The STAIRS project, co-funded by the European Union, aims to develop and disseminate an innovative AI-driven Chatbot to provide whistleblowers and civil society with secure, real-time support and guidance on EU and national whistleblower protection laws (Directive EU 2019/1937).

The STAIRS project envisages the active involvement of public institutions, associations and other private entities in the abovementioned activities, in order to co-create ad shape the final tool.
